Frequently Asked Questions
Are sheets and towels included?
Yes, sheets and towels are included in the reservation. We will ensure that each bed is prepared with clean sheets before your arrival, and we will change the sheets after you check out. For towels, you will find one large and one small towel per person.
Is it possible to change a double bed to 2 single beds?
I'm afraid we don't have any other beds than the ones mentioned on the listing, therefore it will not be possible to change.
Is the pool heated?
Yes! The pool is heated all year round. The pool is heated by an energy-efficient electric heat pump and will attempt to maintain a comfortable water temperature through 12 hours of operation per day. How warm the water actually is will vary depending on the weather. The pool is also cleaned and maintained every week, all year.
Can we check in earlier than 16:00?
In short, it depends. If we don't have any reservations ending the day you are checking in, it might be possible to check in earlier. If we have a reservation that ends the same day, we will need until 16:00 to ensure the house is ready and properly cleaned. Two days before the start of your reservation we can update you about the possibility of checking in earlier.
How do we get the keys?
We will send you a message with all the details ( access codes and a video showing how to use the codes) two days before check-in. The codes will be active from 16:00 on check-in day unless an early check-in has been arranged. The codes will be valid for the length of the reservation.
How to get public transport into the centre of Lisbon?
The house is in a residential neighbourhood near the train station called Foros de Amora, with regular train services to the centre of Lisbon. The train station is less than 5 minutes driving from the house, and there is lots of parking near the train station.
The train station is only about 15 15-minute walk from the house, but part of the way doesn't have a sidewalk, so having a car is more convenient.
It is also possible to use ride-sharing services such as Uber or Bolt or even a regular taxi from the house to Lisbon, and back.
